Troubleshooting Console-to-Service connectivity

Where to start if Syspeace Console can't reach a Syspeace Service.

Syspeace v4

Syspeace Console reaches every paired Syspeace Service through the Syspeace relay, rather than connecting to the server directly. If a service isn’t showing up, or its status looks wrong in Console, start with the basics:

  • Confirm outbound internet connectivity on both the server running Syspeace Service and the workstation running Syspeace Console — both need to reach the Syspeace relay.
  • Confirm the service is paired to the correct Syspeace account. A service paired to a different account won’t appear in your Console.
  • Confirm the Syspeace version on both sides. A Service and Console pairing works most predictably when both are reasonably current — see the downloads page for the current release.
  • Check whether the issue is isolated to one server or affects all of them. If every paired service is affected, the issue is more likely connectivity or account-related than specific to one server.

If none of this resolves it, contact support with what you’ve already checked from this list, plus the information in Collecting information for a support request. Exact relay connection details (ports, protocols) aren’t published here — support can advise on anything beyond general connectivity.

Still stuck? Contact support with your Syspeace version, Windows Server version, and a description of what you're seeing.
